Labour Ministry: Food Ration Cards for National ID Endings 7, 8 and 9 Charge Thursday

According to Mehr News Agency, carried by Donya-e-Eqtesad on Wednesday, Shahrivar 4, 1405 (August 26, 2026), under the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare's latest schedule, income based food ration cards (electronic food vouchers) for households whose head's national ID ends in 7, 8 or 9 will be charged with 1 million tomans per person on Thursday, Shahrivar 5, 1405 (August 27, 2026).

Under the new schedule, the interval between charging dates for each household group has widened from five days before Mordad to ten days: households with national ID endings of 0, 1 and 2, along with households covered by the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, the Welfare Organization and the armed forces, are charged on the 15th of each month; ID endings 3 through 6 on the 25th; and ID endings 7 through 9 on the 5th of the following month. Each charge must be used within one month.
