4 August 2026 | 3 months ago

Parsian Bank reported income from loans granted of 8,020 billion tomans in its monthly Codal filing for Tir 1405 (22 June to 22 July 2026). That compares with 3,000 billion tomans in Tir a year earlier and 6,580 billion tomans in the preceding month of Khordad. The bank's operating spread, the difference between lending income and deposit interest costs, reached 1,516 billion tomans in the month.

According to the Bourse News report, the bank's gross income in the first four months of 1405 reached 6,676 billion tomans, against a loss of 2,236 billion tomans in the same period last year. On the basis of its new capital, gross profit recognised in Tir was 115 rials per share, of which 49 rials came from lending after deposit interest costs and 66 rials from the bank's other activities.

The report adds that Parsian Bank, which in past years mostly ran operating losses covered by foreign currency revaluation gains, ranked fourth among listed banks by operating balance in Tir, and stands eighth by market capitalisation at about 61 trillion tomans.
