Payment of August Pensions for 5.3 Million Social Security Retirees Starts on 29 Mordad

Iran's Social Security Organization said in a notice on Thursday, August 20, 2026 (29 Mordad 1405) that payment of August pensions for more than 5.3 million of its retirees and pensioners will begin at noon on Thursday, 29 Mordad, and be carried out over three days, alphabetically and through partner banks. According to Ecoiran, citing Jamaran, August pay slips will be viewable from the first of Shahrivar through the organization's online services portal and the "Tamin-e Man" app.

The notice said that the timing for paying arrears from the annual adjustment differential and the third phase of the salary alignment for Farvardin and Ordibehesht will be officially announced once the required funding is secured. The organization asked retirees who do not receive a bank text message by the end of the stated period to check their account balances.
