Mohammad Shariatmadari, chief executive of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, stressed the need for an operational timetable and faster delivery of power supply projects for the group's war damaged subsidiaries at a joint meeting between the holding's managers and those of the MAPNA industrial group, reported by Bourse News on Saturday, 1 August 2026 (10 Mordad 1405).
He said that from the first day after the attacks on the group's subsidiaries, various routes for sourcing electricity had been pursued so that production could return to stable conditions as quickly as possible. He added that swings and constraints in power supply are among the petrochemical industry's most serious challenges, and that energy stability at the complexes is at the top of the holding's agenda. Khalil Behbahani, chief executive of the MAPNA industrial group, said MAPNA was ready to present an operational plan and deliver the power plant projects on schedule.
At the meeting, Seyed Mohammad Ahmadzadeh of Fajr Energy Persian Gulf, Sepehdar Ansarinik of Bandar Imam Petrochemical and Hashem Najafi of Mobin Energy Persian Gulf reported on negotiations and on reconstruction work at the damaged units, particularly on power supply. The meeting closed with an emphasis on finalising technical agreements and starting execution of the power supply and grid renewal projects as soon as possible. The Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company is the largest petrochemical holding listed in Tehran, so its power supply position bears on output and profitability at its listed subsidiaries.
