A listed Iranian refiner denies that a new feedstock pricing directive has been issued

According to Bourse News on Saturday, 1 August 2026 (10 Mordad 1405), a refining company listed on the Iranian capital market published a clarification notice on the Codal disclosure system in response to online rumours that the directive governing the pricing of feedstock and oil products had been changed.
The notice states that under cabinet decision number 5689/T65501 dated 4 Ordibehesht 1405 (24 April 2026), the Oil Ministry's directive number 903 dated 23 Dey 1402 (13 January 2024) was extended until the end of Tir 1405 at the latest. The company stressed that no new directive on the pricing of crude oil and oil products has been issued by the relevant authorities, and that calculations therefore continue to rest on the extended directive.
The feedstock rate is the single most important input cost for Tehran listed refiners, and any change to its pricing directive feeds directly into the group's profit margins, which is why rumours about it usually show up in trading of refining shares. Under the notice, the current procedure remains the basis of practice until a new decision is issued.
