Iran's Subsidy Targeting Organization announced that the second phase of the July 1405 (2026) electronic food-subsidy card (Kalabarg) activates on Saturday, July 11, for household heads whose national ID numbers end in 3, 4, 5, or 6. The first phase began on July 6 for ID numbers ending in 0, 1, and 2, and the third phase is set for July 16, covering IDs ending in 7, 8, and 9. The credit remains unchanged at 1,000,000 tomans per person. Despite earlier speculation that higher-income deciles would be dropped, the government confirmed no eligibility decile was removed from the July round. Kalabarg is separate from the monthly cash subsidy and is redeemable for eligible food items at participating stores.
