September Food Voucher Credits Begin Today in Three Phases

Charging of the electronic food voucher (kalabarg) credit for September 2026 (Shahrivar 1405) began today, Sunday, September 6, 2026 (15 Shahrivar), in three phases based on the last digit of the household head's national ID number. According to Ecoiran, citing Zoomit, and also Donya-e-Eqtesad, the first phase activated credits for households whose head's national ID ends in 0, 1 or 2, along with households covered by welfare institutions. The report said the credit remains unchanged at 1 million tomans per eligible person, with the total household amount calculated based on the number of eligible members. The credit cannot be withdrawn as cash and can only be used to buy designated basic goods at participating stores.
