The company trading under the symbol شکام (Shokam) disclosed on codal on Saturday, 23 August 2026 (1 Shahrivar 1405) that its board has approved price increases on some products, to take effect from the date of approval. According to this Group B disclosure, the approved average price increase is 17 percent for ethoxylate group products, 36 percent for trading group products and 35 percent for active pharmaceutical ingredients.

The company attributed the increase to a higher cost base driven by rising raw material purchase prices, higher global prices for some trading products, and the removal of the preferential exchange rate on import orders for part of the active pharmaceutical ingredient raw materials, and said the aim is to protect its profit margin.

The increase was stated as 8 percent of the company's total sales revenue for the prior financial year and 7 percent of its total assets for the prior year. Like other recent price increases, this is a margin recovery against cost pressure rather than growth in physical sales.
