The Farabourse-listed company under the ticker Shekam said in a Group B material disclosure filed on Codal on Saturday, September 26, 2026 (4 Mehr 1405), that its board has approved an average 22 percent increase in the prices of its active pharmaceutical ingredient products, effective from the date of approval. The filing dates the event to 4 Mehr 1405.
The company attributed the increase to higher raw material purchase prices, the removal of preferential currency for import orders of some raw materials, higher foreign and domestic freight costs, and rising energy and production overhead costs, saying the aim is to protect its profit margin. The filing puts the matter at 8 percent of the previous fiscal year's sales revenue and 7 percent of total assets. Shekam closed Saturday's session up 2.34 percent at 10,510 rials.
