Tehran bourse opens Saturday higher; TEDPIX tops 4.89 million points

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, rose about 0.2 percent in Saturday morning trade on 25 July 2026, climbing above 4,895,000 points. As of 10:28 Tehran time the index was up nearly 11,200 points, while the over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse index (IFX) gained about 0.3 percent to near 39,000 points.

It was the first equity session since Brent crude retreated back below 100 dollars on Friday, and the market opened higher despite regional tensions and swings in global markets. The Tehran bourse trades Saturday to Wednesday from 09:00 to 12:30 local time.
