Tehran Stock Exchange closes Saturday up 0.21%; equal-weighted index gains 0.58%

The Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) ended trading on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at 4,894,453 points, up 10,452 points or 0.21%. The equal-weighted index rose 7,856 points, or 0.58%, to 1,363,920. The equal-weighted gauge outpacing the main index indicates gains were broader among small and mid-cap symbols than among the market's largest names.
The session recorded 643,048 trades, with total turnover of roughly 484 trillion rials (close to 48 trillion tomans) on a volume of about 39 billion shares. The over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse index (IFX) also closed higher, up 164 points or 0.42%, at 39,016.
Saturday was the first session of the Iranian trading week; the Tehran exchange trades Saturday through Wednesday from 09:00 to 12:30 local time. Final market data was updated at 16:41 Tehran time.
