Tehran Main Index Closes Saturday Up 1.65 Percent at 8,265,481, 6.2 Percent Above Sunday's 12 Mehr Close

The Tehran Stock Exchange main index closed Saturday, October 10, 2026 (18 Mehr 1405) up 134,401 points, or about 1.65 percent, at 8,265,481, while the equal-weight index gained 22,092 points to end at 2,172,525. Mehr News Agency reported the figures from the last data recorded on the Tehran Stock Exchange Technology Management Company (TSETMC) site, and Donya-e-Eqtesad likewise confirmed the 1.65 percent rise in the main index. In its midday report Donya-e-Eqtesad had called the level a "historic range" for the index.

According to Sahmino's recorded data, the main index has closed higher in each of the four sessions since Monday, October 5, 2026 (13 Mehr 1405): by 6,841 points, 187,265 points, 153,921 points and, today, 134,401 points. It stands about 6.2 percent above its close on Sunday, October 4, 2026 (12 Mehr 1405), which was roughly 7,783,177. The market was shut on Thursday, October 8, 2026 (16 Mehr 1405), and the next session is Sunday, October 11, 2026 (19 Mehr 1405).
