Tehran Stock Exchange Index Closes 1.43 Percent Lower at 7.153 Million

The Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, closed Saturday, September 26, 2026 (4 Mehr 1405), the first trading day of the week, down 103,957 points or 1.43 percent at 7,153,088. Boursenews reported 1,345,000 trades and retail trade value of 43.3 trillion tomans (hemat). National Iranian Copper (Fameli), Ars, Shepna, Shebandar, Foolad, Taban and Shasta weighed most on the index.

Farabourse moved the other way: its main index rose 49 points to 57,661. According to Sahmino's own records for the same session, individual investors were net sellers on the Tehran Stock Exchange and slight net buyers on Farabourse, while the bourse's equal-weight index fell 9,344 points to about 1,929,000.
