Tehran Stock Exchange index flat on Wednesday after Tuesday's rally; about 795 billion tomans of retail money exits

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, closed on Wednesday, 22 July 2026 (31 Tir 1405) at 4,883,977 points, down about 3,575 points or 0.07 percent, leaving it essentially unchanged after Tuesday's strong 1.54 percent rally.
Trading opened with roughly 80 percent of listed symbols in positive territory, but supply picked up from the second half of the session and the share of gainers slipped to about 63 percent by the close. The over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse index rose about 0.47 percent to 38,852 points.
According to the session report, roughly 795 billion tomans of retail (individual) money left the market during the day, pointing to cautious behaviour among small investors. Index figures are based on Sahmino live data as of 12:39 on Wednesday, 31 Tir.
