Tehran Stock Exchange turnover reached about 31 trillion tomans on Wednesday, 4 Shahrivar 1405 (August 26, 2026), with 93 percent of listed symbols closing in positive territory, according to Eco Iran. Real, non institutional investors brought roughly 4.8 trillion tomans of fresh money into the market during the session. The rally in trading activity accompanied a 2.61 percent rise in the main TEDPIX index, which closed at 6,386,000 points, and a 2.13 percent gain in the equal weighted index to about 1,802,000 points, a level already reported earlier the same day as a new historic high for the exchange. Taken together, the turnover value and the wide share of advancing stocks point to broad based demand across Tehran's stock market that day.
