Zeshk Books a 1,395 Billion Rial Gain on Selling Its Shirin Khorasan Sugar Shares

The company trading under the ticker Zeshk said in a group B material disclosure published on Codal on Thursday, 2 Mehr 1405 (September 24, 2026), that on 29 Shahrivar 1405 (September 20, 2026) it transferred 1,556,206,019 shares of Shirin Khorasan Sugar Company at market price to its major shareholders: Zeshk Industrial Factories Group bought 1,167,154,514 shares for 3,480,166 million rials, and Beheshte Saadat Iranian bought 389,051,505 shares for 1,160,055 million rials, with the amounts deducted from what the company was owed by the two.

Per the filing, the transaction removed 3,283,002 million rials from the company's assets and 4,677,955 million rials from its liabilities, and a gain on sale of 1,394,952 million rials was recorded in its books. The company said the sale met a condition of its admission and listing on the capital market, namely reducing its investment in securities and settling related party debts, and brought equity investments to about half a percent of total assets.
