104,000 People Added to Cash Subsidy Rolls for Deciles Four to Nine in Shahrivar

According to a report by Tasnim News Agency, republished by Donya-e-Eqtesad on Saturday, 26 September 2026, the 187th cash subsidy round (Shahrivar) added 104,249 people to the population covered in income deciles four to nine, lifting it from 45.224 million in Mordad to 45.328 million. The number of household heads rose by 31,505 to about 15.702 million.

Total payments to these deciles rose by 30.7 billion tomans, from 13.5103 trillion tomans (hemat) in Mordad to 13.541 trillion tomans in Shahrivar, an increase of 0.23 percent, paid through 28 agent banks. The report attributes the changes to monthly updates of the Iranian welfare database, new births and newly formed households.
