According to Iran's capital market news agency SENA, published Monday, 10 August 2026 (19 Mordad 1405), the Kalaye Padash investment fund, licensed by the Securities and Exchange Organization, will open subscription for units of its "Kalaye Padash 1" fund, trading under the symbol Silva (a silver metal fund), starting next Sunday on the Iran Mercantile Exchange's ETF market. The fund has 200 million standard units on offer, with secondary trading to begin once the subscription period ends and the fund is formally registered.
Nine silver funds are currently trading on the Iran Mercantile Exchange: Plata, Siglo, Neghrefam, Neghresa, Neghrin, Neghran, Neghrabi, Simin and Silver. Counting the previously subscribed Neghrat and Sian funds and the addition of Silva, the number of silver funds on the exchange will reach 12, a trend that reflects steadily growing interest among Iranian investors in the metal.
