18 Karat Gold Reaches 23.616 Million Tomans per Gram

The price of one gram of 18 karat gold in Iran's domestic market rose today, Wednesday, September 16, 2026 (25 Shahrivar 1405), to 23.6161 million tomans, according to Donya-e-Eqtesad. Sahmino's own data shows the same level as of 11:29am Tehran time today, with 18 karat gold at 236,133,000 rials (about 23.6133 million tomans), up 1.52 percent on the day. The domestic gold price rise coincided with a jump in global gold prices and escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
