Five Iranian refiners tell Codal that no new crude and product pricing directive has been issued
2 August 2026 · 2 months ago
Five listed Iranian refiners, trading under the tickers Shepna, Shavan, Sharaz, Shetran and Shabriz, filed clarifications on the Codal disclosure system on Sunday 2 August 2026 regarding the directive on pricing of refinery feedstock and petroleum products. Their notices state that the competent authorities have so far not issued or communicated any new directive on the pricing of crude oil and petroleum products.
Isfahan Oil Refining Company, which trades as Shepna, added in its filing that the validity of the oil ministry's existing pricing circular has been extended to the end of Tir 1405, which fell on 22 July 2026.
The feedstock rate is one of the main drivers of profitability for the refining group on the Tehran exchange, and uncertainty about it typically weighs on trading in these tickers. The filings followed speculation that the pricing formula might change.
