27 July 2026 · 3 months ago

Abu Dhabi's benchmark ADX General index rose 0.54 percent, or 53.33 points, to 9,881.47 on Monday 27 July 2026. The index is 4.64 percent lower than at the same time last year. Dubai's DFM General index, in its most recent recorded session on Friday 24 July 2026, closed 0.21 percent lower at 5,786.97.

The sessions came alongside a sharp drop in oil prices. Brent crude fell 7.48 percent from the previous day to $91.03 a barrel on Monday 27 July 2026, after the United States and Iran halted their strikes over the weekend.

The Emirati market matters for Iranian businesses because Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the main channel for trade and dirham remittances. The dirham remittance selling rate at Iran's Currency and Gold Exchange Centre was quoted at 41,330 tomans on Monday 27 July 2026, up 59 tomans from 41,271 tomans the previous day.
