The public relations office of Bank Saderat Iran said on Monday 27 July 2026 that 840,188 billion rials of the bank's overdue claims were resolved over the twelve months of the 1404 Iranian year. On the same statement, that figure is about 45 percent higher than the 577,000 billion rials recorded in 1403.
According to the bank, the largest quarterly share came in the winter of 1404 at more than 255,000 billion rials, a 42 percent increase on the autumn. The bank said that in 1404, compared with the preceding year, the rial value of recovered amounts grew between 5 and 200 percent in most provinces, with East Azerbaijan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Alborz, Hamadan and Qom at the top of the list on growth of 140 to 200 percent.
The largest recovery volumes by rial value came from the west and central Tehran regions, Khuzestan, Isfahan and Razavi Khorasan. These figures are the bank's own disclosure and have not been independently verified.
