The average asking price for housing across Tehran's 22 districts reached about 236 million tomans per square meter on Wednesday, 1 Mehr 1405 (September 23, 2026), crossing the 230 million toman threshold, according to Donya e Eqtesad's proprietary housing price dashboard. Ecoiran reported that Tehran's housing market, after a period of relative stability over the summer, entered an upward phase starting in the second half of Shahrivar (September). The same dashboard shows a wide gap between districts: District 1 topped the list at roughly 650 million tomans per square meter, while District 16 recorded the lowest average at about 121 million tomans, meaning asking prices in District 1 run about five times those in District 16.
