Bitcoin briefly plunged into the 74,000 dollar range on the night of Monday, September 15, 2026 (Shahrivar 24, 1405), immediately after the US Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act, before recovering to around 76,000 dollars, a drop of about 3.77 percent from 24 hours earlier, Arzdigital reported. A separate Arzdigital report said about 300 million dollars in leveraged long positions were liquidated across the crypto market within 20 minutes of the vote. Bitcoin's market capitalization stood at 1.53 trillion dollars during the swing, with daily trading volume reaching 38.3 billion dollars.
