Bitcoin jumped nearly six percent to above 86,000 dollars on Monday, September 21, 2026 (30 Shahrivar 1405). According to CoinDesk, the move was driven by a short squeeze that liquidated about 648 million dollars in bearish positions. The rally also saw Bitcoin reclaim its 50 week moving average for the first time in more than 10 months, a technical milestone some analysts link to a possible end of the recent bear phase. Separately, Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, said it bought 950 more Bitcoin worth about 75.7 million dollars last week, lifting its holdings to 846,000 coins as of September 20 and keeping its position as the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder. Sahmino's own live pricing showed Bitcoin trading at 86,000 dollars as of 19:27 Tehran time on Monday, up 6.01 percent on the day, a level consistent with readings from Alanchand and TGJU.
