Caspian Airlines announced today, Sunday 11 October 2026 (19 Mehr 1405), that the temporary seizure of one of its Boeing aircraft in Turkiye has been lifted, as reported by Mehr News Agency. Caspian credited the Civil Aviation Organization, the Foreign Ministry and the Iranian embassy in Turkiye with pursuing and easing the lifting of the restrictions, and stressed that it will continue the measures needed to keep the fleet operationally ready and maintain its flight schedule.
The statement does not describe the exact legal issue, how long the aircraft was held, or any cost involved. The return of one aircraft to service adds operating capacity for an airline whose fleet faces constraints on parts and maintenance.
