Citigroup turned more bullish on bitcoin in a note published Saturday, Mehr 11, 1405 (October 3, 2026), forecasting the price would top $113,400 over the next year, a roughly 40 percent increase from the bank's previous target of below $82,000, set in July. According to ArzDigital, Citi's analysts cited rising market activity, an improving macro backdrop and renewed inflows into spot bitcoin ETFs, and the bank expects about $5 billion in fresh capital to enter the digital asset market over the coming year. Citi also nearly doubled its price target on MicroStrategy, the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, raising it from $136 to $240 while maintaining its buy recommendation.
