CME Group to Add Uniswap and Bitcoin Cash Futures Contracts on October 19

CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange, said on Monday, 1 Mehr 1405 (September 22, 2026), that it will add Uniswap (UNI) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) futures contracts to its listings starting October 19 (27 Mehr). The contracts will be offered in both standard and micro sizes. According to ArzDigital, Uniswap's price jumped nearly 5 percent and Bitcoin Cash's price nearly 10 percent after the announcement.
Giovanni Vicioso, CME Group's global head of cryptocurrency products, said that as crypto markets continue to mature, market participants need more regulated and comprehensive tools to manage the price risk of digital assets. Because many traditional investment funds and banks are not permitted to trade on conventional crypto exchanges, exchanges regulated by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, such as CME, serve as one of the main gateways for Wall Street institutional investors into these assets.
