Gold and coin prices rose on Wednesday evening, October 14, 2026 (22 Mehr 1405), after days of declines, as the dollar climbed. According to TGJU's Emami coin page at 19:32, one coin traded at 267,330,000 tomans, 9,520,000 tomans above the previous day, with a daily high of 268,850,000 tomans. EghtesadNews (carried by Donya-e-Eqtesad) put the daily gain at 10,300,000 tomans with the price in the 268 million toman channel; the gap between the two figures comes from the baseline used for the previous day's price.
The free-market dollar, per EghtesadNews, rose 7,520 tomans to 263,690 tomans after closing at 256,170 tomans on Tuesday, 21 Mehr. An 18-carat gram of gold was 26,148,000 tomans at the same source (577,000 tomans above Tuesday) and 26,006,000 tomans at TGJU (266,400 tomans higher). The coin is still about 0.5 percent below its 268,790,000 toman price of last Thursday (16 Mehr). EghtesadNews tied further gains to the dollar's behaviour, currency supply and the durability of demand.
