Gold 18 carat at 17.96 million tomans on Monday; Emami coin quoted at 179.8 million tomans

According to the currency and gold desk of Eghtesad Online on Monday, 27 July 2026 (5 Mordad 1405), a gram of 18 carat gold in the Tehran market was quoted at 17,960,300 tomans and a gram of 24 carat gold at 23,944,000 tomans. A mesghal of gold traded at 77,800,000 tomans, and the same report put the global gold ounce at 4,088 dollars.

In the coin market, the Emami coin was quoted at 179,800,000 tomans and the Bahar Azadi coin at 177,000,000 tomans. The half coin traded at 92,600,000 tomans, the quarter coin at 51,500,000 tomans and the one gram coin at 27,000,000 tomans. Sahmino data show the Emami coin closed Sunday, 26 July, at 181,490,000 tomans, down 1.65 percent on the day, which puts Monday's quoted level roughly 1,690,000 tomans lower.

The report put the Emami coin premium at 3,575,000 tomans, matching Sahmino's own premium reading. The Bahar Azadi premium was 1,800,000 tomans, the half coin premium 4,565,000 tomans, the quarter coin premium 8,030,000 tomans and the one gram coin premium 4,126,000 tomans.
