IME Silver Certificate Trading Hits 25.5 Tons in Shahrivar, the Busiest Month Since Launch

According to Boursenews, citing Iran Mercantile Exchange financial market data published on Thursday, 2 Mehr 1405 (September 24, 2026), trading in silver bullion certificates of deposit reached 25,545 kilograms in Shahrivar 1405 (August 23 to September 22, 2026), the highest monthly volume since the market launched. The previous record was 24,021 kilograms, set in Khordad 1405.
Since silver certificate trading began on 20 Azar 1403 (December 10, 2024) through the end of Shahrivar 1405, more than 203,332,000 certificates, equal to about 203 tons of silver bullion, worth 78.3 thousand billion tomans have changed hands.
The surge comes with global silver trading at about $64.3 an ounce early on Saturday, September 26.
