Iranian investment funds' assets reach 3,400 trillion tomans

The head of the Securities and Exchange Organization's investment fund supervision centre said the total assets of Iran's investment funds have reached 3,400 trillion tomans. The announcement was published on Monday 27 July 2026 (5 Mordad 1405).
He also said the number of licences issued for the various categories of investment funds has reached a record 606. Investment funds have in recent years become one of the main channels for retail money entering Iran's capital market, and the way their assets are split between equities, fixed income, gold and commodities affects liquidity flows across different markets.
