Iran's exports to Armenia rose 7.5 percent year-on-year to $385 million in the first seven months of 2026, Mehr News Agency reported Monday, October 5, 2026 (13 Mehr 1405). The report coincided with news that the two countries are expanding a green customs corridor and increasing capacity at the Nordooz border crossing, steps described as aimed at further easing bilateral trade.
According to the report, Iran and Armenia have broadened customs and transit cooperation in recent months to speed up the modest trade growth the two neighbors have posted in recent years.
