Mechanized dividend payment goes live on Iran's Dara shareholder portal
26 July 2026 · 3 months ago
A new mechanized dividend-payment service has gone live on Dara, Iran's integrated shareholder portal, moving the process of paying out share dividends into a new phase. The service was announced on Sunday 26 July 2026 and is intended to get dividends approved at company general meetings into shareholders' accounts faster.
Cash dividend payments by listed Iranian companies have for years been slow and in many cases required shareholders to collect them in person at bank branches. The Dara portal was built to centralize the registration of shareholder details and bank account numbers. No date was given for when the service will cover all listed issuers.
