Rajabi Mashhadi said new rules on aggregators let small producers sell their output on the Iran Energy Exchange's green electricity board. He estimated the cost of building a 5-kilowatt plant at about 350 to 450 million tomans, assuming at most 90 million tomans per kilowatt, and said loans cover up to 80 percent of construction costs.
