Tarztalab announced a call for private investors in the planned 10,000 MW rooftop solar programme. The financing mix foresees at least 40 percent from the investor, up to 50 percent from the National Development Fund and at least 10 percent from electricity subscribers; repayment of principal and profit is guaranteed through the green energy exchange. He added that instalments on National Development Fund loans have started falling due for renewable power investors. These are announced plans and no new capacity has come online as a result.
