26 July 2026 · 3 months ago

Saudi Arabia's benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed on Sunday, 26 July 2026 (4 Mordad 1405), down 37.27 points, or 0.34 percent, at 10,766.84. Total trading turnover of the benchmark index for the session was reported at SR2.37 billion (about $632 million), with 98 stocks advancing and 158 declining.

Saudi Arabia's parallel market, Nomu, also closed lower on Sunday, 26 July, losing 71.04 points, or 0.32 percent, to 22,001.81. The MSCI Tadawul Index fell 5.85 points, or 0.40 percent, to 1,443.82.

The Saudi bourse is the largest equity market in the Persian Gulf region. Its direction is one barometer of how the ongoing Strait of Hormuz crisis and regional tensions are affecting asset markets in Iran's neighbours, markets that Iranian investors also watch as a signal of how the region is pricing risk.
