Seven TSE Industry Indices Hit Record Highs in Monday's Session

Per Boursenews, during Monday's session on September 9, 1405 Shahrivar (August 31, 2026), even as the average TSE industry index fell, seven sector indices broke through previous ceilings to reach record highs: petroleum products (up 135 percent year-to-date over 67 trading days), coal (up 124 percent), banks and credit institutions (up 108 percent), base metals (up 86 percent), computers (up 81 percent), insurance and pension (up 73 percent), and chemical products (up 40 percent year-to-date). That day, of 41 active industry groups, 13 rose and 27 fell.
