Shahid Rajaee Power Plant Delivered Over 6.5 Billion kWh to the Grid in the First Half of 1405

Abolfazl Motabha, managing director of the Shahid Rajaee power plant in Qazvin, told Khabar Online on Saturday, 26 September 2026, that the plant generated and delivered a total of 6,597,091,000 kWh of net electricity to the national grid from the start of the Iranian year through the end of Shahrivar 1405 (22 September 2026).

Of that, he said, 3,057,145,000 kWh came from the plant's nine combined-cycle units and 3,539,946,000 kWh from its four 250-megawatt steam units. The plant has 13 units and helped supply the province and stabilise the national grid during the summer 1405 peak-demand period.
