The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran issued a circular to Iran Customs, published on Tuesday 6 Mordad 1405 (28 July 2026), notifying approval for the export of sugar under a conditionally authorised classification.
According to the text of the circular, the decision rests on letter number 605262 dated 30 Tir 1405 from the acting deputy for trade development at the Ministry of Agriculture, and on clause 3 of the resolutions of the nineteenth meeting of the working group on food security and regulation of the agricultural goods market, covered by letter number 512969 dated 10 Tir 1405.
The approval covers sugar exports under tariff lines 17019100, 17019900 and 17029090, and the Trade Promotion Organization has asked Customs to communicate the ruling to the country's executive customs offices for implementation. A conditionally authorised classification means export is not banned but is contingent on meeting set rules and obtaining the required permits.
