Tehran Stock Exchange's overall index (TEDPIX) closed Sunday, 19 July 2026, down about 21,784 points, roughly 0.46 percent, at around 4,755,500. It was the third straight daily decline, but far milder than Saturday 18 July, when the index shed more than 2 percent and about 120,000 points; selling pressure eased somewhat.
The over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse index (IFX) also fell Sunday, down about 210 points, roughly 0.56 percent, to around 37,293. Market reports pointed to continued real-money outflows and seller dominance in trading. The pullback came amid the ongoing military tensions and swings in the currency and gold markets; on the same day the free-market dollar hovered near 193,000 tomans and coin prices stayed close to record highs.
