Cross-border settlement can involve banks, transfer intermediaries or digital-asset arrangements. A quotation and a ledger transfer do not by themselves establish final, accessible funds. Counterparty, legal, currency, custody and settlement risks remain distinct. A dollar-linked stablecoin is a claim or arrangement with its own issuer and redemption design, not automatically a dollar bank deposit. Transfer methods must be assessed under applicable rules; this lesson supplies no evasion procedure or provider recommendation. Sahmino never needs a private key or recovery phrase to show market data.

Worked example (hypothetical)

A transfer of 1,000 quoted dollar-linked units loses 10 to service fees and 5 to network fees, leaving 985 units. If the receiving quote is $0.98 per unit, their indicated value is $965.30 before redemption and FX costs.

What does a successful on-chain transfer prove? That the stated chain transaction occurred under its conditions, not that a bank will redeem the asset or that all legal requirements are met.
