1,540 rental housing units in Tehran, Parand, Qarchak and Andisheh to be handed over by year end

Reza Khaleghi, director general of the Roads and Urban Development Department of Tehran Province, said in remarks published by Mehr News Agency on Sunday 26 July 2026 that 1,540 rental housing units in the cities of Tehran, Parand, Qarchak and Andisheh will be completed and handed over to eligible applicants by the end of the current Iranian year.
He said units in Tehran and Qarchak are in the completion phase, with interior fittings such as taps, boilers and cabinets being installed. Registration for applicants in Tehran city and province will open in the coming weeks.
Khaleghi also set out the eligibility conditions: couples may register if they fall within income deciles one to six, have been married for no more than five years, and have no record of home ownership.
