Registration for Tehran province's rental housing scheme to open by the end of this week

Reza Khaleghi, director general of roads and urban development for Tehran province, said on Saturday, 1 August 2026, that the registration portal for the province's rental housing scheme will open shortly, and that the process is expected to be available for Tehran province by the end of this week.

He said the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development is activating the provincial portals gradually and in sequence. On the location of the units prepared, Khaleghi said they are scattered across the province and include areas such as Gilavand, Shahriar and Robat Karim, with some projects also located within the city of Tehran.

The rental housing scheme is one of the government's programmes for tenant households. Details of the registration conditions, the number of units and the rent levels in Tehran province have not yet been officially announced.
