2,406 illegal crypto miners have been seized in Isfahan since last year

Seyed Mohammad Mousavian, the public and revolutionary prosecutor of Isfahan, said on Sunday, 15 Shahrivar 1405 (6 September 2026), that special judicial orders have led to the identification and seizure of 2,406 illegal crypto mining devices in the province since last year. According to Khabaronline, he said the operation aims to reduce pressure on the power grid and prevent energy waste, describing it as a coordinated, targeted effort across the province.
The Isfahan prosecutor also called for careful handling of the cases related to the seized equipment and said the province's judiciary stands ready to pursue the rights of the public treasury and citizens in this matter.
