Bank Maskan paid 2,855 interest-free housing deposit loans to people whose homes were damaged in the war

Bank Maskan said on Sunday 26 July 2026 that it had paid 2,855 interest-free housing deposit loans to owners and residents of homes damaged in the war.

According to Mehr News Agency, the housing deposit loan is a facility paid to tenants and to those affected by damage, to cover part of a rental down payment.

The report did not state the rial ceiling per loan, the total amount disbursed, or how the facilities were distributed across provinces.
