Bitcoin Breaks $86,000 Resistance, Triggering $150 Million in Liquidations

According to ArzDigital, bitcoin extended its rally on Friday, 10 Mehr 1405 (October 2, 2026), breaking through resistance at 86,000 dollars and reaching as high as 86,700 dollars. The move put heavy pressure on traders who had bet on a price decline.

The report said the rally triggered roughly 150 million dollars in liquidations across the market within four hours, with about 140 million dollars of that coming from short positions. Sahmino's own data shows bitcoin trading at 86,083 dollars as of 11:32 Tehran time today, up 1.47 percent from the previous day.
