Bitcoin fell about 3.5% on Tuesday, 14 July, ending near $61,900, below its level at the start of the day. The cryptocurrency, which had opened the session near $62,500, traded between roughly $62,000 and $64,000 before settling lower.
Selling pressure on crypto has continued alongside worries over the military tensions between Iran and the United States and as traders await the Federal Reserve's rate path.
