Bitcoin steadied above $64,000 on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 (7 Mordad 1405), after two volatile days. Sahmino's price board recorded bitcoin at $64,155 at 18:29 Tehran time, up 0.37 percent. CoinDesk reported the token the same day at $64,328, up 0.75 percent. That level marks a recovery from the $63,000 area seen on Tuesday, 28 July.
Ether took a different path. According to Yahoo Finance, ether opened Wednesday at $1,919.73, some 1.5 percent above Tuesday's opening price, but eased to $1,904.82 by 8:56 a.m. US Eastern time. Sahmino's board showed ether at $1,895 at 18:29 Tehran time, down 1.24 percent.
The market's main driver is the Federal Reserve interest rate decision, due that afternoon US time. Based on interest rate futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, markets were pricing roughly a 35 percent probability of a rate increase, an unusual degree of indecision so close to a decision. For Iran's market, the global path of cryptocurrencies is followed mainly through the price of tether.
