Cryptocurrency markets turned higher in the hours after the US inflation data was released. According to CoinGecko data early on Friday, July 31, 2026, Tehran time, bitcoin rose 2.2 percent over the previous 24 hours to $64,748, while ether traded 2.1 percent higher at $1,921.
Among the larger cryptocurrencies, BNB led with a 4.6 percent gain to $592.4. Solana rose 2.7 percent to $74.49, dogecoin 2 percent to $0.071, XRP 2 percent to $1.086, and TRON 1.1 percent to $0.329.
The move followed the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis report on Thursday, July 30, that the PCE price index fell 0.1 percent in June, data that reduced expectations of a rate increase at the Federal Reserve's September meeting. Before that release, the crypto market had been trading slightly lower during Thursday's session.
